OUR INSTRUCTORS

The Seminole Ridge Television Production Academy is taught by Earle Wright & Alexandra Jenkins. Both instructors are veteran teachers who have also worked in the broadcast & film industry.

Earle Wright

Mr. Wright founded the Seminole Ridge Television Production Program when the school opened in 2005 and has proudly overseen its growth to the “Choice Academy” that it is today. Wright has taught Television Production since 2000 after leaving WPEC News 12 where he served as the producer for several newscasts. Mr. Wright has experience as a producer and editor at several television stations and also owned his own production company. Mr. Wright is a 5-time Dwyer Award Finalist in the Career Education category. In 2025, Mr. Wright was named Journalism Teacher of the Year for the state of Florida by the Florida Scholastic Press Association.

Alexandra Jenkins

Mrs. Jenkins began teaching in 2020 but has more than a decade of experience working in the television and film industry. Mrs. Jenkins taught for 3 years in the Osceola Creek Middle School Television Production Academy before coming to Seminole Ridge. During her career, Mrs. Jenkins has worked for numerous broadcast companies including WPEC News 12, NewsMax and Olympusat.
