Television Production I is a fundamental course in television & film production. After an overview of the television production process, the course continues with introductory material on camera systems and operations, sound for television, television graphics, non-linear editing, lighting and staging. This is a hands-on, equipment-intensive course. Students will learn parts of the camera, basic camera shots & movements, scripting, storyboarding and editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
Students will be responsible for producing and directing several short video projects in different production formats that include: Commercial, Public Service Announcement, Short Film, Movie Trailer and Music Video.
