Seminole Ridge High School TELEVISION PRODUCTION students had a winning day at the Florida Scholastic Press Association District 7 Convention. The event was held Saturday October 19th at Deerfield Beach High School and WSRH News won video contests and even an election!

Seminole Ridge junior Connor Nugent was elected FSPA District 7 Representative and will represent Palm Beach, Martin and Broward Counties at all state FSPA planning meetings.  His duties will include planning the FSPA State Convention in Orlando (April 24th – 26th, 2014) as well as next year’s District 7 Convention.

Our students placed in the following competitions:

• 1st Place: On-The-Spot Script Writing (Samantha Belohlavek & Jezebel Perez)
• Honorable Mention: On-The-Spot Video Editing (Connor Nugent & Anthony Gugliotta)
